Tech Editing

Tech editing is essentially thoroughly checking a pattern with a fine tooth comb, from top to bottom. Not only checking for mathematical errors but also spelling and grammatical errors. 

After completing a 4 week course with the cool wool school and the incredible Carol Ibbetson, I am now a fully qualified Tech Editor for knitting.

I will happily tech edit any knitting patterns, using my fine combing attention to detail and analytical skills to check the pattern is mathematically correct but will also edit for grammar, formatting and styling.

I completely agree with the cool wool thinking that a designer should have and keep their own voice in their patterns and this is so important to come through with your designs - I will absolutely not alter the voice and style of a designer, I just want to help you make your design the best it can be!
